Theres a port on the exhaust side of the car (just above an behind the turbo oil drain) that IIRC i used on NA motors. Possibly a pressure guage location? Do you guys know the thread size of the hole? It didnt feel like a nornal 12mm or 14mm bolt.

So would it be best to apply a thin beat of the silicon before you reinstall the moulding? Or would it be just as well off applying it after to the edge? Have you seen results from other cars doing this?

Honestly, I was glad to have the oil pressure from the shim. But I think that with us living in the cold climate and trying to DD our cars, it would be a disaster to have our oil flowing all the time through the cooler. Without a complete oil make over I think it was a good idea to keep it...
