    Jack on the pan, it's very strong and will easily lift the front of the car off the ground. Definately use wood to spread out the load on the pan though...

    It would spool, but a huge ass wheel in a small housing = TRUE compressor surge that will EAT the turbo. You'd also have to find someone crazy enough to actually perform the upgrade (have fun with that).

    The stock guage IS accurate, it's just dampened (easy to remove and make it as fast as any other electronic boost guage, and you can also change the scale of it so it shows more boost)

    Yes. ECU advances timing until it detects knock, and then backs down. This happens on the fly. It's why if you have that code you'll be down on power as it pulls timing in order to protect the engine from detonation.
