    Consume oil, yes, and if you drive your car hard that extra quart helps keep the oil pickup covered. Uncovered oil picku = rodknock. The crank isn't even close to hitting the oil in the pan at that level, I've heard you could easily run 2 quarts over and still not have any issues...

    That's why the LS1 kits come with tiny disks that you install on the intake. Nitrous backfire will blow them out, and they're replaceable.

    It's how you break your drivetrain... On the street, I just remove my foot slowly like normal, just at a much higher RPM and it will build boost and not lose traction. Gonna have to slip it more on a sticky dragstip though...
