    Throttle body and ISC heating

It's for cold-start emissions, and no I've had no problems bypassing them :)

new G-tech numbers in and very disaponted

I don't understand how people say they are accurate for time but not for hp. The hp figures are calculated by the weight and acceleration. Sure if you have an aggressive clutch and slam it hard into the next gear, you might get a bad peak reading, but as long as you roll on the throttle...

Haha, yeah, the entire sales team at HPF was occupied for quite some time as we watched it. It came out very nice :)

Robert P. posted this on the SOGI list perhaps two weeks back: However, I'm fairly sure the fluidyne is larger than 1.5" (38mm) I'll try to get a measurement tomorrow

No price no post? (FS Section Rule Proposal)

I agree with those saying priceless FS posts are annoying, but I don't like the idea of a rule saying it can't be done. If someone wants to sell a part as if he or she were running a silent auction, so be it... I view Supramania as a refuge from overbearing rules, and while this one won't...

    Who's on the AEM EMS?

I'm hoping to get the Supra running on it this weekend, I'm currently trying to track down wiring diagrams for the additional sensors (finished the MAP, currently working on the GM boost control solenoid -- will do the IAT after I get the car running fairly well on the MAF). Anyway, just wanted...

Just got these rotors off ebay

There is also a problem with chamfering the holes. Cheap rotors do not, so you have a sharp edge which is prone to developing a crack. Now 90% of the population does not need to worry about cracking rotors. Doing one stop from 120mph isn't going to build up the kind of heat to worry about...

    Drifting the hoopty video

Yeah, the course was as I drove it (The video cuts in on the 2nd half of a figure 8 at the beginning) then the course moved to a "chicago box" (where I lug it a bit in 2nd) to a slalom, and then the big freestyle area where I did two horse-shoes (technically was supposed to stay close to the...

    My hoopty drifting

Pretty much. At those speeds it was pretty much just power-over with a bit of feinting. I've kind of tied my hands as I won't clutch-kick anymore (tired of replacing transmission/clutches) and I don't like hand braking. The mk3 is a hard car to do a true braking drift in (at least mine)...

    My hoopty drifting

The lot was so smooth I only went through 1 set of tires. Normally I would have gone through 3 pairs of rears and 1 pair of fronts, so I was pleased

Looks awesome! Those cam gears were a perfect match for your valve covers too! Are you going to leave the upper timing cover off? :) Very Nice FF manifold too!
