    Mki

It would fit, no doubt about it. It shares the same engine block with the 7M-GTE, fitting the intercooler and piping would be a bit of a challenge, but certainly not hard I don't think. The rear end is only a 7.5" diff, it's tough, but a high-hp setup may break it, I dunno. Not as tough as the...

Siman, the guy just ruined his car, don't be an ass about it. Sorry lanky, that sucks a lot.

No 1 speed sensor affeected by broken speedo cable

The speed sensor is in the gauge cluster, it senses the speed of the speedometer cable. If that cable is broken, it will cause the auto ECU to not know the speed of the vehicle.

    1JZ Tranny Options

I've been a Supra enthusiast and AE86 enthusiast for about as long as I can remember, my dad's had a Supra since I was about 4 (I still remember him buying it, black on black 86 MK2, he had a white 82 before that which I barely remember, but he had it for less than a year before trading it for...

I bet if I had my Corolla in my sig though, nobody would say anything negative, so why say anything about the Integra... bah, lol. :p ;)

79-81. The 79-80 had the 4M-E engine, it was Toyota's first EFI engine. :) In 81 it got the 5M-E engine. The 4M-E is 2.6L, the 5M-E is 2.8L. Solid rear axle, 4 wheel disc brakes, pretty decent car for driving around, but not really a performance vehicle. A 7M-GTE would be nice in one ;).

    Dash Light Problem

It would work, but it goes in a different spot, so I wouldn't get it if I were you. Check that you plugged it back in, I'm guessing you didn't ;).

    Dash Light Problem

Sounds like the light control rheostat. Did you recently take the dash apart? Check that you plugged it back in, if it's plugged in, you probably need to replace it. I have a spare 90-92 rheostat I'd sell ya.

    1JZ Tranny Options

Nice to see you here as well as on Club4AG. Welcome. For flywheels, you're somewhat limited, because the 1JZ uses it's own flywheel. If you want an aftermarket one, ask for a 7M-GTE flywheel with the JZ crank bolt pattern instead of the 7M pattern. There are some aftermarket ones (JUN I...

They also increase the look of the car by 127.42x, so they're worth it anyways. :)

    Downforce

Brittle subframes indeed, mine just cracked, right below the pinion flange on the diff. :( I have the 89+ braces but they haven't been on the car for a while because I was trying to find a squeek back there so I was checking the half-shafts and just looking over things, then my subframe cracks...

    A code thrower?

I'm guessing you want to read the engine codes? All you need is a paper clip. www.supratsrm.com Check the manual. If you have a Supermonitor, it can show engine codes as well.

Specs and Year Changes for MKIII

I haven't seen any of that info for the MK3 :(. Also, font colouring is generally a bad idea on forums, as there are different styles to view the forum and it doesn't always show up properly in all of them. It's more to highlight certain words, and it's probably best to not use it for entire...

I was asked to move this thread back by the moderator who closed it. I wasn't really given a reason. I'm assuming he'll post when he gets the chance, lol. Until then, thread reopened I guess.

    fuel injected carburated engine?

A lot of cars in the mid 80's were TBI (Throttle Body Injection), including Hondas from that time. My uncle's 1989 Civic was dual injector throttle body injection. I'm guessing the CRX is a very similar setup. It just injects the fuel earlier in the system, instead of an injector for each...
