    name that engine!!!

Yeah, in 73-75 there was the 2002 Turbo, but not in North America... :( It had a 170hp 2.0L 4-cylinder M10, with lowered compression (6.9:1 from 9.5:1). They made a total of 1672 of them. Cool cars, I love the reversed "2002 Turbo" on the front for people to see when driving behind them. That's...

    2JZ dirrect bolt On????

The R154 is basically stronger, that's the basic difference, lol. Stronger and bigger and heavier. The W58 can take about 350rwhp on a 7M before blowing IIRC, the R154... more... but both will break if you abuse them. It's cheaper to use the W58, because you can get the correct bellhousing no...

Due to the fact that you called them Surpas, your opinion no longer counts. :( Sorry.

    1GGTE ? what is it

    Yup, there's always that too.

    1GGTE ? what is it

Not all GA70's are narrowbody. There were other 1G-based engines in the Supra (GA70) as well, the 1G-E, 1G-FE, and 1G-GE, all of which are pretty low powered. I say if you have a 7M-GE right now, go with a 7M-GTE or 1JZ-GTE, both have much more aftermarket availability, and the 1JZ-GTE...

    Question about afm

Yup, I'm using the Lexus electronics in my 88T. They are the same electronics as the 89+ Supras IIRC (Same P/N on the electronics box).

    Injector Question

Well, since the 89+ Supras had high impedence injectors, they wouldn't even have a resistor pack, meaning that all the resistor packs (N/A and Turbo) are the same. :)

    7mge non interference

High compression pistons, material removed from block/head, higher lift cams, or like Grim said, inertia moving the valves past where the lobe is touching them. I think that's about it.

Installing MK4 injectors? Clips? NEED HELP FAST!!!

Unless you did up a custom fuel rail. :)

Installing MK4 injectors? Clips? NEED HELP FAST!!!

The 2JZ-GE has a completely different fuel rail than the 2JZ-GTE, they're not the same and have different setups. The 2JZ-GE does use the same type of AFM as the 7M-GTE though, the Lexus/550 mod is quite popular N/A-T 2JZ guys too. :)

Installing MK4 injectors? Clips? NEED HELP FAST!!!

Yeah I knew JDM 2JZ's were 440cc's, and that they were side feed, just wasn't 100% sure on the USDM ones, (more like... 95% sure, hehe. :) I'm at work, so I can't look much up here -- I feel helpless ;))

Installing MK4 injectors? Clips? NEED HELP FAST!!!

I'm pretty sure 2JZ-GTE injectors are side feed, the 7M-GTE uses top-feed injectors. 550cc injectors are a common mod, just not MKIV ones, because I don't think they fit. (Unless only the JDM 2JZ-GTE was side feed and the USDM one is top-feed, but I'm pretty sure they are both side feed.)

    Performance Chip?

*without the addition of a daughterboard, and it's not as simple as popping one out and popping another in. It's also not cheap. :)
  18. Jeff Lange

    Stupid ? I'm sure....

Pretty sure the 7M head will fit on the 5M/6M, or even older M blocks. The 7M is basically the 6M with a different head. The 6M was basically a 5M with a longer stroke.

    Injector Question

N/A and Turbo resistor packs are the same. :)
