Very intresting read on dyno diffrences.

I was browsing around the internet and found this article. With all the dyno testing going on lately if figured it might be a worth while read here on the forums. The original article: http://www.germanmotorcars.com/Dyno_load%20vs%20inertia_1.htm It has some very interesting insight into...

We Can Thank Toyota for the Existence of Subaru

I heard Toyota had bought shares of Fuji Heavy Industries last year. But had never heard any follow up on it until now. It was a pretty quiet deal so you shouldn't be surprised that some of the people here haven't heard about it before.

Correct Flow Rate of PTE 550cc injectors

The original design for the lex/550 was a direct replacement with out having to fiddle. Of course over time people added things to tune the pig rich state out of the stock fuel maps. But the original design and calculations were made for a "drop and go" upgrade.

    Sound Deadening Weight & Measure!

Some things are just beyond me i guess. I didn't buy a supra just so I could tear things out of it to save a 10th of a second here or there. If I was building a track car maybe, But not a street car, and not the supra. You say you don't notice the noise but I'm sure I would, those kind of...

    wireless internet.....

Linksys was good enough for CISCO systems to buy them, that says something right there. As for Netgear, I have never had much love for them, but they are cheap. Currently my works about 80% of the time, if it starts getting a lot of traffic through it, it will freeze up. Also it doesn't like to...

    Gearing vs turbo

Ah for the days when you had mod privileges and could take care of the yourself. ;) As for the post, this would be the reason they gave the turbo cars a 3.73/3.91 final drive and the NA 4.3. The turbo cars stay in gear longer, and because of the heavier load placed in the engine tend to build...

    Unknown problem at high RPM

Basically, you got the idea. The center carrier bearing has a rubber insert that after time can breakdown and cause excessive play, thus allowing a slight wobble in the drive shaft.

    Unknown problem at high RPM

While you're checking your wires crawl under your car and inspect the carrier bearing on the drive shaft. As in its early stages of wearing out it can cause odd vibrations when put under load. It's just a thought and it only takes a few extra minutes to check.

    Nille the Swedish guy, hehe

Beautiful car man, you're brave doing the swap after the paint job. There is also another guy on here sporting a MKII in a similar color, though I think his is a little brighter.
