I have a 2JZ TT VVT-i engine... I bought and HKS adjustable cam gear for it, but I wanted to know if it's worth buying "OR" can I buy a cam for the VVT-i? I know when it comes to cams for the VVT-i engines, you practically can't do much to them, so I wanted to know if I can replace the stock one...
I had a feeling it was that it didn't have a bov it was the upgrades that 2jz has gotten. The surge between shifts from the big turbo.... Thanks man that helped.
I have search and search but I can't seem to find anything on this.... I can't find the blow off valve that this car is using or anything that come's close to how this one sounds, I have heard it on other MK4 supra's But I can't seem to find the bov that this car is using.. if it is indeed using...
My name is Cristian

I have a TT GS300.... I'm in the process of getting a new mk3 supra so the doctor of all supra's jose can install a 1jz vvt-i at kaizen motorsports hospital. :evil2:
What he said^^^ cuz the more you bug him, the more his going to know that his supra is going to be worth a lot of $$$$$ then when he really want's to sell it to you or anybody else he is going to ask for a lot of $$$$$.
Or maybe it means a lot to the guy, he has his reasons.
I totally agree with this: "Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case."
Well one way to find out, take your wife tho the track and see...
Congratulations. You earned it, you have a clean ass car.
I  your engine so clean.
Congrats to the red supra as well who ever you are.
MKIII 4 EVER...............................................
I have it on my GS/Aristo and I love it.
But I wonder if it's the same on a MKIII, Smooth wise and does it give it more power since the MKIII is lighter then the Aristo and MKIV .
So the 2JZ VVT-i on the MKIII is worth it. Has anybody actually seen a MKIII with a 2JZ VVT-i in action? I've only seen a 1JZ VVT-i stock, and man that's that car pull, for being stock that engine has power(On a MKIII).
I was wondering if anybody has done this set up on a MKIII. I've seen people do 2JZ, 1JZ and 1JZ VVT-i on a MKIII, But I have never seen anybody do the 2JZ VVT-i set up.
Have any of you guys done this or know anybody who has?
