    Quick question about driveshaft harmonics...

Don't the 200mph MKIV's run one pieces? That's pretty crazy.

Group A's 1G GTE narrow body targa with Link G4 Storm ecu

I really like the look of it, but I'm also one of those people that can't really see much of a difference between wide and narrow bodies. I know there is a difference, I really have to look to see it. So it's a wasted spark distributor drive ignition system.

    hahah Banned from SF

Not sure at what point you got banned, but they said it over and over what would happen if somebody said something. So you pretty well knew what was coming when you made that remark. I've seen some banns come straight out of left field over on SF, but you could see that one coming like the noon...

    No Boost!!!

The potential for it to happen is there, yes, depending on how long it took oil pressure to reach the turbo. All variables that depend on how long the engine had sat before running, what the outside temp was, and what viscosity oil you use. If the weather was cold, and you had a thick oil...

    No Boost!!!

If the turbo was started up without oil, it could have damaged the berings severly shortining the life of the turbo. Those turbos startup and spin pretty fast generating a fair amout of heat if they don't have any oil.

    No Boost!!!

Did you pre-oil the turbo before putting it on?

    RHD Prius

Umm, yeah it's not like we are going to driving these tomorrow, but that doesn't mean we should stop researching does it? Aluminium, is the third most abundant element in the earths crust. we are going to run out of a lot of things before we run out of aluminium. according to this artical, yes...

    RHD Prius

It would be nice, but all the Environmentalist would have a hissy fit about Toyota claiming to be about the environment with their hybrid technology and then coming out with a sports car. And then they would catch flack for coming out with muscle hybrids like Honda did last year.

    RHD Prius

If you had read the article you would see that they are not using electrolysis. And hydrogen isn't just in oil, it is the third most abundant element on earth, it is in water, soil, and all organic matter. Hydrogen would be an ideal energy source if we found a more efficient way of producing...

    Turbo Jet Engine.

Kind of interesting how they hooked up a second pump to the exhaust manifold for the afterburn effect. Pretty cool idea but I bet longevity and efficiency go right out the window. Non the less, plus one for effort and ingenuity.

Anyone here in the aerospace industy?

Soldering does have pretty good prospects, the real "in" with it is that you can move on to QA easily. And there are some real good jobs their. All of those classes in the like look just like the stuff we took in Micro/miniature school. It's good stuff.

Anyone here in the aerospace industy?

This is just what I've been told from the guys going that direction but the programs are identical. The Navy's 2M manual and NASA's NASA/MSFC certification are nearly the same. But the certification itself doesn't shift over. So all we have to do is the recertification under NASA. Which is...
