    noooooooooooooo! not to a ma70

A 1989 GA70, narrow body hardtop, sporting a 1G-GTE with a manual transmission, and no AC had a curb weight of 3219lbs. With 210hp at 6200RPM and 202.5ft-lbs at 3800RPM This would give it a power to weight ratio of 1:15.3 or 0.065 *edit: Just to throw things into perspective, a 2007 Corvett...

    noooooooooooooo! not to a ma70

Believe it or not a 1988 GA70 (narrow body) hardtop with a 1G-FE, and a manual transmission had a curb weight tipping the scales at 3,020lbs. That was the lightest trim available, so yes it had the potential to be much lighter. Hell you take the gasoline out of the fuel tank and you have a sub...

    good news from energy suspension

Yeah if we can get a full kit, I would be good for a GB. Keep us updated on the talks with the company and I'll keep an eye on this and CK's thread.

Displacement on a rotory can be a bit deceiving, in 720° of crank rotation, a piston engine ingests its rated displacement of air. In the same 720°, the rotary swallows nearly twice its rated displacement. And the 13B is 1.3 liters. Or on a good day, equivalent to a 2.6 liter piston...

    Supra or keep the Celica?

The SC300 Lexus are very reliable as they sport the 2JZGE, and are ripe for turbocharging. In all honesty, the Celica will probably be the more conservative car. They are good cars and provide a reliable and efficient platform. They are usually less prone to failure, and by association, have a...

WOW. didn't know this could be done!

It's too wide at the base to be a MKIV spoiler, If I had to guess, I would bet it's a "Super Wing" from a Camaro.

    MKIV Seats in the MKIII?

MKIII seats are very comfortable, and I've always loved leather. One of the few people I know that does. I also enjoy the smell of warm leather after it's been sitting in the warm California sun.

Yeah the valve train is pretty quite, but the stock injectors are loud as hell. I can hear them inside the cabin (barely).

Where is the MKV supra thread?

The Supra was Toyota's flagship model, it demonstrated the best in Toyota tech. This car carries that same spirit. Supra means to surpass, in that right this new car carries all the ideals that went into the MKII, MKIII, MKIV. It is the best Toyota had to offer. If Toyota would have had the...

I was wondering when somebody was going to notice that. I was trying to figure out why it didn't have any side molding, and then realized that it was a Celica.
