Well it wasn't grocery getting that caused that kind of damage.

    People like this annoy me

I have heavily considered it down the road a little bit after I stop moving around so much. But I would prefer to get my hands on a bone stock one and that is getting harder and harder to do.

Perception is a product of persuasion. So until I'm persuaded to own an MKIV I'll go with Ian's version of the Supra Genesis.

Well the Supra is a GT car. And the Boxy MKII was there for the larger part of the 80's, only marginally though. And the MKIV is round and looks like a damn catfish. *Damn Ian beet me to it.*

*Joe has lost all will to type and will now only communicates with smilys. :-p * Not sure what the problem is with the ad. Just sounds like somebody trying to play up the body style of the MKIII supra, so he can sell it.

Joe is getting a lot of mileage out of that smiley today

hmm interesting, good idea, I wonder what kind reliability there is with a repair like that. I'm sure self induced heat is hard on the chips.

Fixed the RROD on the xbox 360

True but it has never quite during a movie. It only locks up if it is left on for a long time. but a restart fixes it. For the price I can deal with a simple quirk like that. ? towel trick

Not sure about the part you have circled as I'm not real familiar with the vacuum system in the NA. I assume it bolts to one of the mounting points under the upper intake plume. I guess I'm confused. Why you need an impact wrench to pull the bolts on the timing gears. The only two you need...

Fixed the RROD on the xbox 360

Yeah one of the guys xbox was only a few weeks old, the other one had his for about a year. It started giving him problems in the middle of games and then it just quit working. I've had mine for a year and a half with no problems, knock on wood. But the HD-DVD drive I got with it has been finicky.

There is no need to pull the cams back up. Just put the timing gears on with the pin in the center hole and turn them so the notches are pointing up.

As for the cams, if you place the timing gears on them they will both have a notch points straight up, as well as lines up with the timing plate cover.

Fixed the RROD on the xbox 360

Kind of neat and I thought I would share. I just finished fixing a second Xbox 360 with the dreaded RROD. It was a pretty straight forward procedure, and I thought I would share it. The guys who owned the Xboxes had already opened them so the warranty was voided, this meant I could go in...

Shop doesnt know whats wrong :(

The filter he had on there when he took it to Toyota was on correct. The one that he placed on afterward to see if it changed the problem was the one that had fitment issues. I'm with MDC on this, inspect your accordion pipe and all associated hoses that run to it.

You try and accomplish a lot, and the community is grateful for it.:icon_bigg I'm just glad you mentioned it to him because I though I was going crazy. A boost leak allows metered air out of the intake. Air the ECU thinks is there, and continues applying fuel for, this causes a overly rich...

Ah ok, I was wondering if I was missing something, because that would have been where I would have started. Good to know somebody is looking out.

Did I miss something or is there a reason nobody mentioned boost leak?
