Here's a shot of the new bearings installed.
And here's the crank back in and everything all buttoned up. The assembly rotates nicely. No binding. That's a good thing! :)
I apologize if you've posted them earlier in this thread; but, do you have any close ups of your wheels?
Could I get the specs on them too?
Thanks and sweet ride man...sweet! :)
Well, it's more information and that always helps.
I personally wouldn't run any more than 15 psi on pump gas without a WB and an EGT gauge. Those two bits of information are VERY crucial to engine safety.
I have two of the harbor freight 1000 pounders and have have had a 302 v8 on them and had two complete 7m's on them.
They are a little hard to rotate; but, you kind of want resistance there. You don't want that thing swinging over fast.
The HF 1000 pounder will be fine.
I once saw a formula that stated 1 lb of rotational mass = 10 lbs of weight.
So, 4.5 lbs less rotational mass would be the equivalent of 45 lbs of weight removed from the car...?
If that's correct, then that would make any engine smile! :D
Thanks jdub!
I've been there man. I totaled my first Supra and it was all my fault. It's a sick feeling. Mine was an 87. I didn't think I'd EVER be happy again.
Then I bought my 91 and I'm all better now! :)
I'm glad you're ok. Good luck man!
I just got a set of those hoses also. I didn't get those "clamps" with them though. I'd feel the same way as you. Hmm.....
I guess you'll be the pioneer on this. Let us know how it goes! :)
Narrow band is 0-1v and Wide band is 0-5v. The gauges and sensors are not cross compatible.
My car came with a narrow band also. I removed it and put an AEM in it's place.
In my searching, Zankoku has the best price on them.
Correct. If you wanted to run it that way anyway.
Watching your AFR's is much eaiser with the gauge than trying to watch the maft screen or even a laptop. You'll want your eyes on the road as much as possible. ;)
With a gauge, you can glance at it and quickly see what your afr's are...
