i think im going to go xp pro simply because ive been using it almost all the time now. id love to get some time to fool around with linux, but my schedule is usually packed.

take a pressurewasher and some engine brite (be sure to cover and avoid all electrical connections) and clean up the engine bay real good. then try to spot where the oil spray is coming from. if not, then grab the oil dye.
