another ebay auction had one with a housing made out of plastic, painted silver on the outside. no lie. the buyer broke it open to find a cream colored plastic on the inside with a shitty paint job on the outside.

what did happen?

i found mine at the local hardware store. something else to give a shot: chewing gum and candle wax remover. works by freezing the gum/wax til its brittle then you take a putty knife and scrape it off. this stuff gets cold as hell, and is highly (i burned a hole in the porch awning) flammable...

if the fuel tank is beyond repair, i suppose you could look at a fuel cell. highly illogical if you just need a basic repair, though. as for the sill, they might be able to take some type of frame straightener to it if its bent too bad, but im not sure of the shop's capabilities.
