these pics were from last summer, forgot to mention that. but like i said, even the suspension was from 86, and definitely on its way out. i think that played a big part in losing control, but thats all speculation.

oh yeah, and a helluva lot of rust. i love how this thing is built, but i've already been through three cans of pb blaster in doing the brakes. that's the only thing that gets me is the rust. i'll end up snapping bolts and stripping threads, but the way this truck is made, i can just go...

i suppose the squealing would be caused by high-speed vibration of the pad/like a chattering, except faster. the metal would give this vibration something to bounce back against and control it, or the stuff that holds the metal to the pad would absorb the vibration (and ultimately noise). just...

she's coming along. tomorrow if i get the brakes bled then id theoretically be able to drive it down and get it tagged, titled and inspected. still have to patch up the cab though, might do that saturday.

if its the LX they do. 2.0 liters of fuel injected fury. i couldnt believe they'd made a turbo one too. i halfway wanna buy one and mess with it. but yeah, no significance in the mileage. that car brought me home from the hospital as a baby, though. i guess its fitting that i ended it.
