I had one. As far as I could tell, the rev limit was gone. I brought it up to 8000 a few times just to see and it never hit the limiter. If there was still a limiter but it was higher than 8000, I wasn't brave enough to try and see.

I've taken a few STis on a roll... From a dig, well that's a different story. I was able to reel one in enough to win before, but it seems most of those EVO and STi guys like to shut down early after 1 or 2 gears and claim their win from a dig. I really hate that...

There's a difference between bumping an old thread to shed more light on the topic and bumping an old thread without any legitimate reason. The majority of thread resurrections are the latter. At least from what I've seen. I don't go through every section looking for thread resurrections though.
