How often does anyone drive for that long, if you are and don't like the sound you could always slip the silencer in. I only cruise my car, as it is not a daily driver, but many 1 to 2 hr drives on the e way are done every year. Maybe it is just me, but I don't think the NUR is too loud.
I have to disagree, I drive mine w/o the silencer and with a test pipe, with the top out and the windows down and the sound never bothers me. In fact in the two years I have had it, not one person has ever said my exhaust was loud.

I have a blitz nur, and it vibrates the garage at idle w/o the silencer. I like it alot. Perfect fit and finish, 85mm pipe, sounds great under boost, and only cost middle to upper 400's
If you have a low budget, just save your money untill you can afford to buy what you really want. Don't spend hard earned money on a 3" elbow now, just to buy the DDP later. You might as well run the stocker, or port your stocker untill you have more money.
