Yours is only a 75mm??? I was pretty sure all MKIII supra NUR's were 85mm which is close to 3.5 inch.

How often does anyone drive for that long, if you are and don't like the sound you could always slip the silencer in. I only cruise my car, as it is not a daily driver, but many 1 to 2 hr drives on the e way are done every year. Maybe it is just me, but I don't think the NUR is too loud.

I have to disagree, I drive mine w/o the silencer and with a test pipe, with the top out and the windows down and the sound never bothers me. In fact in the two years I have had it, not one person has ever said my exhaust was loud.

With the correct RA finish on a perfectly squared head and block, you should not need the use of any other materials than the metal headgasket itself.
