I got my supra this past winter and it had bald tires and it still handled better then my Honda prelude in the snow....you just gotta keep it easy on the go pedal!!!!
Front wheel drive cars are so much harder to work with and its a high mileage car so it may crap out on you....and gas mileage...
my car has had the waterfall sound sense i bought it....oil is fine, coolant stays full, temps are perfect, and no puddles under the car accept oil lol....i only get the waterfall on a cold start in the mornings after work but once the temps raise or the system builds pressure the waterfall goes...
then in that case..let's say around town driveing...one shouldn't be getting the brakes hot enough to cause glaseing wet or dry or else one drives like a nut....
On the highway water will never make it to the brakes....around town his brakes shouldn't get hot enough.....

the law of physics would prevent water even touching the rotor in the event of hitting a "small puddle"....big puddle half way ip the wheel sure but then if dude hits puddles that big brakes are the least one would worry about!

You only use copper spray if the mhg doesnt already have sealer on it (most do)......copper spray will ruin the existing coating....and copper spray won't do crap if the block and head mateing surface is too ruff!!
