Yup....its two pieces of stamped sheet metal and its annoying to get it in place while trying to hold the trans in place....there is an upper piece and lower piece.

well time for an update...its been awhile!
recently a good friend of mine gave me a 7mgte short block that was in great shape.....so ive started my build...currently the block is at the machine shop up the road a bit from me. so far its been hot tanked and...
so its been about a month sense the trans swap and so far so good.....i did notice oil on the bottom of the bell houseing so i think the new rear main seal i installed is leaking so i may need to drop the trans again but im sure it will be much easier this time considering i know what im doing...
the car seems solid but needs plenty tlc....has some rust around the windshield that needs repaired...but right now im focusing on mechanical...
fag who owned the car before me siliconed the sunroof....i plan on filling the gap with tiger hair and bondo over it...best thing i can think...
