Odd... in Canada they don't even carry the non-synthetic any more.
And you were right about the friction modifier, you need to buy that separately still.
Before doing anything bloody big and expensive, I'd try these:
- Port the wastegate hole in the DDP a bunch
- Switch to a DP with a single big opening, instead of a separate wastegate pipe.
I'm thinking that the turbo backsection has already been ported enough to flow the gas needed to avoid...
There used to be a guy on here that used the spring loaded clip system to mount his exhaust. Seemed to work fine for him.
He was only holding on the muffler, though.
Err... you *can* put it on with the engine in, but it's not fun, and you need an extremely small ratchet...
I'm pretty sure a couple of the guys here make bock off kits. Try 935 / Driftmotion / NotRice, I'll bet one of them either carries them or knows where to get them.
Actually, I think they do fit.
Or you can take off the wastegate and the rear housing, buy a conventional rear housing and a new tubular manifold, and bolt an external wastegate to it.
I'm amazed that you're still building boost. Mine won't do that - I tried, when I put it on the first time...
