WTF?
If it's an early model starter, it's a bolt with a nut.
If it's a late model starter, the starter itself is threaded for the bolt, no nut required.
In no case is it a stud with two nuts that I've ever seen.
If you have rounded off either the bolt or the nut, a socket bolt extractor will...
Keep in mind that *required* space and *ideal* space are not the same thing at all. Required space is a mostly fictional number created by marketing. Kind of like the minimum system requirements listed for games... sure, you *can* play that game on a P3 with 512K of RAM... as long as you don't...
Yes, a number of Supras have been stolen and stripped. Most (all that I can remember, anyway) were hotwired and driven away.
A simple switch, wired into the fuel pump power line, and concealed somewhere will solve the problem. IMO every car should have one of these.

Seriously, when we were buying them, we test fitted several and bought the one that would work in both our cars. Lucky thing that my wife Tracy is small, though, because the passenger seat DOES have to be literally...
What he meant is that your cylinder pressures appear to drop as you test - starting at 180 and going to 170. Most common cause for that is forgetting to pull the EFI fuse, which allows the injectors to spray fuel into the cylinders during the test - the later cylinders get more fuel and read...
Fixed that for you.
If you're going to go for the expense of buying a new engine, consider going the other route - getting your existing motor completely re-manufactured.
This WILL solve all your little oil leaks, and more than likely any cooling problems you are facing as well. Plus, you'll...
Excellent advice. Furthermore, if it has a drain plug AND a fill plug, start with the fill plug. That way you aren't left without a way to refill it after you empty it...
