You asked for the community's help about a belt, then go outside the community to buy it? Why did you not ask for one of the authorized vendors to give you a price on one?
No way! Not my mint condition baby! It will be done on full weight or not at all. I will put the AEM on the stock ct to break the record before I put her under the knife.
Not only that, but you don't need to lose the stock IRS. I have seen lots of sbc swaps in supras before, hell I saw a 468 BB chevy in mk3 for sale in the auto trader. The 406 would be an eaiser swap than a 7mge to 7mgte. All the electronics you need is already in the distributor, one 12 v wire...
Gates Racing...Very High quality belt. The part number is t237rb. It is even blue, just like the greddy, half the price. Made in USA Holding one in my hand as we speak!
What he means is too many people relate the pressure to the amount of power achieved. Not the case, 18 psi on a stock ct is no where in the same ballpark as 18 psi on gt4067R. Need to think in terms of lbs/min instead of lbs/sq inch
If you want to build an NA just for the hell of it, then do it. Everyone chiming in about the turbo option forgets that sometimes people just want to do something just to do it. Regrind your stock na cams, you won't like the way turbo cams run in a NA car. You can get pistons made in any C/R you...
I went to the track again and the best I could manage off the bottle was a 12.78. I did win my class I was racing in and took home a 3 foot tall trophy.
I got pised later on and hooked up the bottle and ran a 11.98 to make myself fell better. Next time, next time...
If he was running this on a ford, then it must have been a " ALL ford EFI stage one kit." Do not worry this is a good kit, All nx kits are wet kits and have the best nozzle delivery systems of any brand. When nx says that you have a 100 shot then belive it. They are closer to true RWHP numbers...
Who manufactured the kit? What is the delivery system for the nitrous and fuel? A single nozzle? I take it the mach 1 is a Mustang? Are you sure it is not a plate system? Also, you will be missing a few adaptors for the fuel system. Most fords use a fitting that threads into the shrader valve...
Congrats John!!!!!!!! Your camera maybe set for a time limit on the recording. If you go in the menu, you may be able to set it for no time limit. I don't like the way your throttle linkage bends when you are reving the motor by hand. May need a stouter piece. Nice turbo BTW! Lets get our cars...
