The bore size of the gasket needs to be larger than the cylinder bore size. 83 or 83.5mm pistons = 84 mm gasket. 84mm pistons = 85 or 86mm gasket.

9 to 9.5mm is about all you would want to run on the stock lifter. 10 mm cam you would want some shim under bucket type lifters and you will have to clearance the head as you will have interference with the cam lobes. You wouldn't really need to go to a larger lifter diameter untill you get in...
