I need some internet detectives please!

Get her phone provider to forward that number to the local police. ;) As for the email, check the raw header information. What email program do you use?

    headlights

Truth. But if you're building a show car that doesn't get driven on the road, go for it.

    HID fix thread

Ya, I definitely want to keep the popups. They are one of the defining features of the car. How hard was the Fx35 refit? I picked up a spare set of the entire headlight assemblies so that I can do fitting and any mods required on the bench instead of in the car.

    Best digital camera around $1000?

I'm going to stick with outdated. The only reason Live View bites so bad is because of the mirror - take that away, the speed isn't an issue anymore. No contest on the battery life, though. G1 miniscule? Not really. Point and shoot cameras are miniscule, but the G1 isn't really a P&S...

Anyone know of a Lexus bi-xenon projector we could use? That would let us use the fantastic discount we get from Champion / Vancouver Toyota...

    Best digital camera around $1000?

A few points. DPReview.com is a fantastic site. I spend a lot of time there, it's well worthwhile. Currently I own Canon (digital) gear, however, if I was going to buy a full on DSLR, I'd get a Nikon. More than likely the D90, the video option is just too good to pass up. Canon has a body...

    Quick! Mouse trap advice!

A buddy of mine has a large rodent problem, and didn't like the way these traps worked stock, so he 'fixed' them. First, they didn't always kill. Well, after putting ~12 short roofing nails through the trap base, from the bottom up, so that the spring snaps the rodents into spiky death, this...

    Thanks,Vonda/MKIIIVixen and Chocolate!!!

Correct. He currently owns a zero rwhp boat anchor with nice paint. He can install the Flintstones mod for a 2/3 hp increase if he's desperate.

    Thanks,Vonda/MKIIIVixen and Chocolate!!!

I got some of these chocolates last night. This Vonda girl can cook, she's welcome to come visit here anytime. Maybe she can talk to my wife... :D 600 rwhp and white? Well, Duane, you fit ONE of those! ;)

what's all that's needed to remove the AFM???

I'm pretty certain they had one that moved you to MAP as well. I've never been fond of Greddy equipment, or I'd probably remember the actual name. Don't make me go dig it out of the archives, they are full of dust, and I'm intrinsically lazy.

7m, 2jz lovers, must go bye bye

A few things. 1. This is the intoduction forum - meaning, introduce yourself, not a car. 2. We are aware of the IS F. 3. The Supra was famous because of it's incredibly high potential, not it's out of the box performance. The IS F has yet to prove whether it's in the same league. 4. No manual...

what's all that's needed to remove the AFM???

True, but that's not the one I was thinking of. REBIC? Something like that, anyway. Definitely old tech by now.

He's in Seattle. Oddly enough, it's tough to find a Canadian Tire store in the USA. ;)

    Radio WIRES!!!

For the WIN. These are cheap, avoid damage to your original wiring harness, and they let you do all the wiring work on your bench instead of scrunched into that tiny space where your radio sits.

what's all that's needed to remove the AFM???

MAFT, HKS VPC, MAFT Pro, Standalone ECU, in order of cost. Greddy made one too, but damnifIcanremember what it was called. You'll have to buy some other type of sensor as well, of course, likely either a MAF or AIT & MAP.

    Quick! Mouse trap advice!

Anyone who thinks cats are 'humane' has never seen one play with a mouse until it's dead. Now there's a long, painful, terror filled process.

Help with one of the 4 bolts on turbo elbow

The Craftsman set has 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, and 19, which is pretty much perfect. I know, because I *just* bought one. I actually have a set of these, AND a set of the fixed head ones. IMO, you can't have too many tools.

    Quick! Mouse trap advice!

The only advantage to live traps is that it lets you enjoy watching while they die. Do you know that a mouse can travel 10 miles to return to it's lair under your floorboards? Keeping this in mind, catch and release becomes too much trouble. Pets work. So do the regular old spring loaded...
