Help with one of the 4 bolts on turbo elbow

I didn't say it was EASY. :) The ratcheting wrench helps a lot. There are two bolts on the turbo that I can only turn a few degrees before I have to take off the wrench and turn it over if I'm using a regular wrench.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here, dude. It's not *hard*, it's *expensive*. Mibrum doesn't appear to be having any problems getting those kind of numbers. Check this: http://www.gtepowered.com/index.php?page=html/gcurmi/profile.php And I'm not going to let you claim that it's...

Help with one of the 4 bolts on turbo elbow

Flex head gear wrenches are your friend. Sears sells a craftsman version. So does Mac, Snap On, just about any decent tool line has them.

    Antifreeze is leaking EVERYWHERE alot!!

If it's leaking everywhere, you need to replace most, if not all, of the coolant hoses.

If the wife / gf thinks it's too hot in the Supra, she needs to remove more clothing. PS: Keep a camera in the glovebox for just such an occasion, and remember to post pics here. ;)

need help identifying hose leaking coolant

That is definitely the turbo coolant lines. You'll need to visit your local auto parts place and buy a length of hi temp coolant hose in the correct diameter, then cut it to fit. VERY hi temp, too, those run right beside the exhaust manifold, and it gets DAMN hot there. Explains the heat tape...

need help identifying hose leaking coolant

The only hose over there that carries coolant is to the turbo. And as that isn't a stock turbo, it's highly unlikely that it's a stock hose, either.

    My sons car got robbed

I've had great luck painting interior pieces that don't see a lot of wear, this would probably work very well. You need to buy both the spray prep and the paint, clean it very carefully, and spray multiple coats, however the effort is well worth it, you will end up with a part that looks far...

    My sons car got robbed

Yes, the pics show that the dash needs to be replaced. Getting it out is a bit of an adventure, but on the plus side, you aren't concerned with the condition of the one you are pulling out!

    "GT61" Technology?

Keep in mind I'm NOT an 18 year old driver on his first high performance car. I'm 40, and I drive like it 95% of the time. I did not push this turbo hard - virtually anyone else on here would have killed it in half the distance, I'm sure. None of the 'bolt on' turbos are really bolt on. They...

    My sons car got robbed

Thread moved to general - it's not very technical, and GE vs GTE won't matter for this. Try to find some folks parting these cars - check Driftmotion and 935motorsports. Randy at BICPerformance was parting one a while back, too, not sure if he still has any bits. A picture with the parts you...
