actually its true. na-t guys do it. you just cant do it w/ the stock ecu. i believe larry at sound-performance did it on one of his cars. i'll see if i can find the pics.
it is true you dont want 2 diff size tires in the rear. however, you have to keep in mind our spare is stock height. if you are running diff size rims and tires, say a 275/40/17 you will have the same problem. stock tire height is 24.85 while a 275/40 is 25.66. also keep in mind donut tires...
looks great man!
i saw the one pic in the video and started thinking it looked familiar. then i realized where i saw it! your pic and write up on the wheel refinish is on the front page of duplicolor project site :)

personally i think that is a fair price. look at the price of other gauges like defi, apexi, etc. add to the fact timing has been such a mystery and this is the only one of its kind. people underestimate how much difference timing makes on the car. not only in numbers, but response as well...
justin-
yes the .84 housing is a standard option for the gt35. nothing needs to be modified/machined to make it work.
i watched the vga w/ my son. go re! can you dig it!?
no worries chris. glad you found a turbo.
funny thing i got up this am and had an email bout the pricing haha.
its fairly labor intensive to machine and build. the custom built gt4088 w/ diff turbine to fit the 68 housing is an extra $200. apparently you cant just get it w/ the 81 housing...
thanks sean!
just wanted to let you guys know about the special built gt40, im still waiting on pte. they are very slow about responding this time of year.
i havent forgot about it ;)
i cant believe noone responded. tons and tons of people use the s-afc. very easy to use and very good tuning device. well worth the money, even w/ minimal mods.
thanks for the support guys. i sell cheap because i too want to support the supra community, esp us mkiii guys. justin gets a special discount being a fellow RE fan ;)
nick-
gotcha. just wasnt sure what the ic had to do w/ what you were talkin bout. you were speaking of it as a whole, not just a single component.
IHI-
who's car is that?
william-
got you covered on the polishing. thats a set price. just at this point waiting to hear back from pte about the price difference.
im sure he does, but i cant find any prices listed. feel free to shop around but i sell at barely above dealer cost. prob gonna be hard to beat.
are you kidding? its the best thing since mac and cheese :)
thanks again to the continous efforts of bob and adam.
im dying to know tho, what is full advance under boost?
afaik they only make 2. DLI and DLI II. we need the DLI. no there isnt a specific harness for our car but not really much to wire in. it can all be done under the hood.
my earlier post about the sp67 i was speaking of x-man's car as he wasnt a member here at the time. after his success...
i am a big fan of ffi as well. many advantages of using it. but, as far as how much it is increase real world performance, its gonna depend on the car and what you want it to do. we can talk all day long about size and volume. i can say -10 fuel line well outflows -6 fuel line. but if you...
