outstanding :) I am still running the stock 16 gallon tank but the cooling aspect of the e-85 and the timing advance works to bring the mpg to with 5% of Gasoline which is not bad. The BAD part is the damn fuel pump needed to run alot of HP. Has to be STUPID big ;)
I don't knwo where that is at but here are at least three stations that say they carry e-85
http://www.e85fuel.com/database/locations.php?state=AZArizona
all located to Tucson, AZ :(
Well here in Minnesota they are in just about every single gas station. Cost is about 1.70-1.90 gallon :)
adn to add most of the UPPER midwest has E-85.
I know Illinois does not have it everywhere but it is catching on even over there :)
mpg see above :)
To convert
well this is tricky. I am on standalone so it is easy for me to switch from Alkie to Gasoline.
but the basic premise is that with e-85, the car needs about 25% more fuel. Stock the car is 440 injectors meaning the next higher up of 550 will do. Do this...
Ok I know IJ has his supra running on LPG.
I am running e-85 :)
is there anyone else that is running anything other than gasoline on thier supras or is IJ and myself crazy enough to do this?? :)
hey questions for everyone and this is in relation to this.
Are the Caminterchangeable?
Reason is that if they are i need two cams WITHOUT the cps gear :) No CPS, no need for gear. just a thought of course :)
well here is the thing :)
If you are going to use the tap to jsut clean the threads in the block. Get a BOTTOMING tap so it cleans ALL the threads.
A plug tap is worthless and so are taper taps as they don't go all the way down. :)
AAHAHAHA
HAAHAHA
lol dude to tap out the IRON block you can not do with just any run of the mill bit especially the coated crap. You need industrial sized and forged bits.
Like the 10.8mm Drill bit i bought. Cost me 45 bucks but took out the sheared thread chaser like it was aluminum :) Same...
well to a certain point there is.
Think about it.
The turbo fills the intake pipes up. To big a BOV releases all that air and the turbo has to do all the work again to refill the pipes up. To small and not enough air gets released and causes compressor surge. The correct size lets out enough...
trust me it is 12mm x 1.25.
I have a pitch measure that confirmed the pitch. The 12mm x 1.25 you will NOT find anywhere. Sears MIGHT have the thread chaser but it is part of a kit and in my opinion it is a piece of shit. Had one shear on me and i had to drill the shit out.
