best upgrade? That is easy. Replace all the 13 + year old hoses in the car ;) Then the oil cooler hoses. Then all the seals (cam seals, main seals, rear seals etc). See a pattern here? All this are maintanance items that MUST be addressed especially on a tired out (ie 100,000+ miles)...

BTW Q45 tb you are stuck with just that ONE sized TB. For FFI there is only ONE way to go and that is with a 86-93 Mustang 5.0 Throttle body. Availalbe from 65mm to 105mm. Anything else is just pointless as you have zero option than just the one TB. Sized to fit the system and HP goals...

no intake is not so simplistic. Volume is only part of the equation. Gas velocities is the other and on the intake part it has as much importance as volume does ;)

rod bearings are not replaced just inspected visually which btw is bullshit especially on the crank and rod tolerances.

hmm you can call it what you want, the kit is no diffrent considering the pauter rods and the option for either ross or JE. The only thing not forged is the crank. That is a moddified OEM crank.

Mike the crank throw is 97.5mm for the crank specialist/flatlander racing kit. Rods are 6.00 Inch length, pauters.

more than likely you will not find that tap at the hardware store. closest will be 12mm x 1.5 ;) that tap I usually special order. I bought mine @ www.fastenal.com

I suggest you go looking for melloyellow for how a 7m can in fact rev! As a matter of fact search for a post that I posted about this particular "myth" (i.e the 7m can not rev). IJ also contributed on that particular thread, But the short response is it CAN rev, you will run out of head flow...

sorry but I am going to disagree with Mike. At 94mm stroke Ryan woon is pushing the 3.4l engine to 9500 rpm. BMW in their S54 redlines that engine at 8000 rpm from factory. and that is with a 91mm stroke ;) and btw the piston speed in both those engines exceed the "recommended" limits.
