I've seen it done with JB weld more than once with no problems, the toyota 4 runners with the 3vze that blew head gaskets all the time, fill the pitting on the deck, scrape it level with a razor blade, use permatex hi tack or copper spray on head gasket. Used it on 7m head for pitting around...
LMAO......Jay, you just need a bi g red S on the hood!!
Cant wait to see what mine looks like with the sides and new rear.......and I was always the guy who never wanted any aftermarket body crap on my car:ugh:
The car was white with blue pearl, and blue moldings, but as you can see in the sig......red now. Too bad he couldnt sell the car and had to part it out.
Most of the time cps problems are in the wiring or connector. Check continuity in all 4 wires throughgh the connector, from about an inch out from the connector in both directions.
LOL....sell it!
On a side note Jake.....you'll have to grind those timing cover bolts that held it on down about 1/4-3/8" because they bottom out. And I have bins of old toyota bolts and couldn't find any the right size, so I took the old ones to the grinder.
You go girl! You definitely cant make $ for the time put in parting out stock cars like that any more. 5 years ago b4 ebay was big yes. He'll take 2-300$ i bet.
If the ecu senses knock, the check engine light does not come on, it just pulls timing and runs rich. The light only comes on when it doesnt see any thing from the sensor(i.e open circuit , bad sensor or wires) over a certain rpm.
TODAY!
Well, once upon a time I checked my rear LSD gears physically and they were the 3.90's. Well, turns out that was my old 88 I was thinking of because I took out 3.73's today! No wonder this fat pig can't get outta the hole and turn better than a 2.19 60' time. Anyways, the 4.30's are...
I would not reccomend the AEM, just because some people are having issues with a/f ratios matching up with the pro. I have a dynojet wideband commander, I love it but their is probably cheaper alternatives, I bought it because it has internal datalogging for rpm, a/f & tps, without needing a...
Nope , you need to buy a wideband seperate, s/d & b/c is good, your good on fuel control for whatever upgrades you make in the future, along with wideband and afpr. If you can monitor a/f safely, you can increase fuel pressure a bit instead of running inj duty cycle higher and get a lil more...
