Thanks, but :umno: :biglaugh: It's lots of work. The cleaning took over 16 hours, and there's one or two small spots that fish eyed, but no biggie. Any idea where I can pick up some wire harness covering? I want to recover both the engine & front body harnesses.

I completed the paintwork inside the engine compartment. Major pain in the ass, but WELL worth it. I couldn't see pulling the motor & tranny, doing all of the mods & not paint it. Now I can start the reassembly. Well, in a few days, I'm going to have to wait until the paint cures fully...

:werd: If they figure out that you swapped motor, you won't get a dime. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if your insurance hits you with a lawsuit for defrauding them. Play your card wisely when dealing with them.

If you get that for an auto NA, count your blessings. That would be a great settlement

You can't turn it down because your mods are letting the air flow trhough your motor too fast. You might be able to raise it a little by backing the air screw out some (on bottom of your stock AFM). If that doesn't do it, it's time for fuel & air mods.....

What's with the attack? Anyway, torque isn't an angular force, Einstein. It's a radial force generated from an axis of rotation.

I just watched the Tampa '05 vids again & saw a lot of MKIV's with a lot of HP, but the Torque was lacking. This made me kinda chuckle. While I respect the few that made high HP numbers (450+), I thought that the torque numbers sucked for 90% of them. Which would you rather have, big HP...

You do know that the crank pulley requires like 440 lbs of torque, right? My number might be off a little, but you have to be a eff'n ape to get thet much torque on it. I had the same noise last year, and it didn't end until I put an impact wrench on it.

Install a large cooler & let your car warm up a little long when it get's real cold. Even when it's super cold outside, the operating temps will be well above 100 degrees.

Has his business habits & quality improved? I'd love to get a gracer nose, bomex side & rear skirts from him as they're impossible to source now, but if the quality still suxes, forget it.
