WOW I knew one was for the EGR but I had no idea what the other one did. I just assumed Toyota put it there for a reason and I should leave it be. Great info JJ!
I think I will stick with my DVDs for now and buy a player that plays all 3 formats for less than $200 in a year or two. People who buy things when they first come out are just like people who buy new cars....BROKE LOL!!!:biglaugh:
How about the steering wheel? That will tell what year it is as well. My guess is its a 89 with a pre 89 climate thrown in as a quick fix. Maybe 89 and 87 look similar on a worn title????:biglaugh:
I enjoy lots of different music, I usualy listen to the local rock station at work. Taking apart its heavy rock and putting back together is usualy newer rock or techno. I cant play any Rammstein or Korn while working on my car...I don't want the sudden urge to smash something.:biglaugh:
You want a way to bypass some of those shipping charges? Just have the ct26 you buy shipped directly to MDC for the rebuild! That way its only two shipping charges and only one import/export fee.:naughty:
I kinda like the front but it looks like stock foglights are not possible. Side skirts look like some that alot of civics around here have now so...not a fan. Rear looks pretty good to me. Wing looks like it was an after thought. It would probably look better in a dark color or black.
Picture is a little grainy, but that looks like a twin turbo setup on that 7m! I want a FFIM. I wish someone with the knowhow would start making them and do a group buy for under a grand.
My newish wheels are getting painted polished and recleared but I have yet to buy tires. I want to keep my spedo somewhat accurate but if it is a little off no big deal. my only real concern is rear tire fender clearance (I will probably have to roll). The wheels are 17x8 +34 and 17x9 +14...
No copper spray is necessary on a MHG. Scrape off the old gasket and use ultra fine prep disks to remove the rest. If it has major surface imperfections it may need to be done at a shop for perfect ra. Finding a shop that knows WTF your talking about...thats a whole nother problem.:3d_frown:
