how do you fix a cps connector?

Sometimes. Regardless, I wouldn't want some trailer wiring on my CPS. I'd order new wiring from Toyota too. Jeff

how do you fix a cps connector?

If it were me, I'd replace whatever is broken with new stuff from Toyota. Both sides of the connector are available from Toyota. I believe I've posted the part numbers before. Jeff

Cant tell if my mk3 was originaly turbo or none...HELP

That is correct. What Japan uses for a VIN is the chassis number, which is MA70 for all 7M-equipped Supras. Interesting side note: Japan never had 7M-GE's in their Supra, so all JDM MA70's are Turbo. It didn't, in Canada/USA, however in Japan there was no N/A model. The turbo model was...

Cant tell if my mk3 was originaly turbo or none...HELP

MA70 = Turbo and non-turbo Chassis Code VIN is not chassis code. In the VIN, MA70 = N/A, MA71 = Turbo. No, Toyota never ran out of MA71's and used MA70's or any other far-fetched idea. Jeff

    new wheels *56k warning*

I knew exactly what I was doing, haha. Hopefully the original poster sees that I bumped the thread, then it will be much better. Jeff

    1jz Thrust bearings

Yup, no need to remove the crank on the JZ engines, just need to get both oil pans off and the main cap off. You can usually rotate them out at this point. Jeff

Building a Widebody Quicksilver JZA80 (Now with New pics!)

I would be too, if it actually worked properly. Hopefully once the harness is in, problems will be taken care of. I believe one of the injectors wasn't getting a good enough signal and leaned out, causing a melting situation, requiring a new block, piston, and rod. Jeff

    The Pet Thread

She is a purebred Beagle. She's a smaller variety (under-13 inch), but I wouldn't say miniature really, as she would be considered normal size. There are just many that are of the larger variety. Jeff

Building a Widebody Quicksilver JZA80 (Now with New pics!)

Well, this thread wasn't updated very much since last I posted things have changed a bit. After a few more problems the car now has a different block, a couple new pistons and a new rod. Also have a TRD widebody to go on, including the spoiler, as well as a Top Secret FRP hood. Jason is also...

    Exterior Dimensions

These are the numbers I have, hopefully they help, wish I had all of them, but I don't feel like measuring the car, lol. 1) Maximum length 181.9" 2) Wheelbase length (center to center) 102.2" 3) Front overhang 37.8" 4) Rear overhang 41.9" 6) Maximum width: including mirrors...

Unfortunately not loaded in the North American parts system. Need to check with someone that can access Toyota Japan's system. Jeff

Simultaniously lower the value of the MKIII and the MKIV

93-96 tail lights win over 97-98. Sorry, but it's true. ;) Jeff

    Getting cruise control to work

Nope, for some reason RHD Australian N/A's have the pump. Not 100% sure why, they're not the only place that had it, but it is somewhat strange. Perhaps there is another system on the car using a lot of the potential vacuum? (Evap or something?) Jeff

"Dad can I have the keys to the car" New Ford Key technology.

I like this idea, but not as a parent or as someone who drive's my parents cars (I don't). I still like the idea though. If for some reason I lent my car to someone (I rarely do), knowing they can't crank my stereo, etc. would be a nice feature. That being said, I only lend my car to people I...

    Gran Turismo 5

It's definitely the best game released thus far. GT5 Prologue is awesome (physics and graphics), but we really need GT5 so that the rest of the game content is filled in before I can consider it awesome in the sense of the GT series. That being said, from everything I've seen and/or played...

    Gran Turismo 5

GT1 and 2 were for PS1 GT3 and 4 were for PS2 GT5 is for PS3 Not much improved between 3 and 4 as far as physics, but there were small improvements. 3 and 4 were FAR ahead of 1 and 2 though. I wouldn't say that 4 was not much of an improvement from 3 though. Do you know how much was...

    7mgte wire harness 5spd

Depending on what you need Dr. Tweak to do, the price may not be that much better. If you get one from Champion or Elmhurst, it's probably quite a bit less than $700. Jeff
