    coolant passages??WTF?

It's been a long time since I've had a 7M down to that point, but I didn't think they did... strange. If I remember correctly, that is not the case on the 2JZ, but way to go, now you have me doubting that too... thanks a LOT! Haha. Jeff

    Fuel pump relay location?

There are 2 relays on the MKIII related to the fuel pump. The circuit opening relay is what actually turns the pump on or off. The Fuel pump control relay simply chooses how the +12V supply feed from the circuit opening relay will be routed, either through a resistor (+9V to the pump) or direct...

    coolant passages??WTF?

Yes it is. What you are seeing at the top is just a thin peice of metal connecting the cylinder to the outer block walls. Cut an inch off the top of a 7M block, and it will look just like that aluminum block. Jeff

    Repaint or no repaint

If you can live with the problems until you want to sell it, do that and paint it right before you sell it. If you paint it now, by the time you sell it, it will have chips and dents again. If you want it to look nice between now and then, go for it. Jeff

    coolant passages??WTF?

Newer Toyota engines where the cooling jacket around the cylinders is completely open have plastic water jacket spacers that fit around the cylinders to control water flow, etc. It's been covered multiple times in this thread, but I'd just like to reiterate that simply having the most coolant...

    coolant passages??WTF?

Not really. I mean yes the average overall temperature will probably be slightly lower, but you will end up with some parts cooler than others, instead of the proper temperatures. Jeff

    coolant passages??WTF?

Toyota just switched from doing it on the block to doing it with the headgasket. The coolant passage holes in the JZ headgaskets are quite small, and vary depending on cylinder. Jeff

    LSx coils

2JZ VVT-i Igniter works well, as it is a wasted spark setup, but does not use a multiplexed system like the 7M does. Very good alternative. Jeff

Lexus Maf Fiting Stock Accordion ??

If you lube it up it should fit in fine. If it's old and brittle it may crack, at which point you'll need to order a new one. I usually use motor oil to lube it up, just dip your finger in it, and very lightly coat it and it should slide in. Jeff

Who thinks this is complete horse shit?

Both myself, friends and neighbours all have and enjoy having fires both in the back yard and in fireplaces in our homes. Am I missing something or are you getting upset because (s)he his burning some wood, or what? Haha. As for the original poster, while I don't know if the school should be...

FT-86 could it be the supra replacement!?

Also daytime running lights in many states and Canada. Popups are basically dead. As for the FT86, the General MK3 section isn't really the place for it. There are other threads. Thread closed. Jeff

    A/C Compressor doesn't fit!

All 7M compressors were the same, if it doesn't line up, it's not for the Supra. Jeff
