    rear diff on my 89...

Axle code is G282/G284 for non-LSD equipped vehicles, G285 for LSD-equipped vehicles. This is on the sticker in your driver's door jam, it will say A/TR, this is your Axle/Transmission code. Sport package USA 89+ N/A models had PPS, TEMS and LSD. LSD was also an independent option that could be...

PPS Power Steering Pump to Non-PPS Rack?

Actually the dampener was removed on models without PPS as well as models with PPS. Not sure the exact reason it was removed, but it was probably a few things, PPS may or may not have been one of them. Jeff

    86.5-88 tps but 89+ ecu?

Both N/A and Turbo used both types of TPS at different times during production. Depending on month/year. They are all electronically interchangeable. The only difference is the orientation of the tangs that turn the TPS on the throttle body. Somewhere on here I posted information about what...

Fallout: New Vegas ( with trailer )

I disagree. The trailer for Fallout 3 made me want to check out the game way more than if they had just showed gameplay. That being said, I thought the Fallout 3 one was slightly better than this. Although it is nice to see Ron Perlman back doing the narration. I never played any of the...

It is it's own game. I am looking forward to this game quite a bit. I played Fallout 3 excessively. Jeff

    Need opinions!

Word usage is correct, strictly from a sentence structure point of view, but I still don't think the way you used the word conveyed what you meant your statement to mean. Jeff

    Mahle pistons for 2jz GTE

Depends. Do you have a VVT-i block? If so, you've got smaller rods than the non-VVT-i & GTE blocks. Jeff

    What's the Difference?

Indeed. The VVT-i shortblock is identical to the non-VVT-i. Only the N/A 2JZ-GE got changed when VVT-i was added, and only the connecting rods were made lighter. Jeff

Anyone go 7m in an mk4??

The 2JZ's ignition pickup system is more accurate than the 7M's, though it still uses magnetic pickups. Still, the sequential ignition system and getting rid of the multiplexing igniter allows for more accurate and power spark. While the 7M's ignition system is good, in fact better than many...

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

Somebody probably does, but Toyota does not sell them any longer. Jeff

Anyone go 7m in an mk4??

There are so many things improved on the JZ versus the M. Anyone who does not see how much better they are has never taken both apart. The oiling system alone makes the JZ far superior to the M. It's just newer, the 7M is an upgraded 60's engine. The only thing modern on it really at the time...

    Super Monitor Wiring

Wires to ABS Computer, ECT Computer, etc. need not be connected if you do not have these systems. It is purely for collecting codes from them. Speed sensor comes from the speedometer, the only system that uses the ABS speed sensors is ABS, nothing else. Jeff

How to tell if I have a turbo automatic transmission

Actually aside from the GTE having 1 extra clutch disc, the part numbers for the discs are also different between GE and GTE. Jeff
