    The UGLY Supra Thread...

Don't know what it is about Veilside and Supras, they just can't seem to do one right IMO. The RX7 on the other hand, or NSX? Mmmmm... And please tell me you're being sarcastic about that orange one? Lot of nice cars have 1j's Nick. Toyota even put a few 1j swaps in them back in the day...

    only one pull

Didn't see anything about the psi that it was dyno'd at, I guess that isn't terrible if you're having issues then. :)

Cool GoPro video of 89 Supra racing in a MotoRally X event in central Indiana.

You're not alone, I suspect if looks like something out of that old "Ironman" arcade racing game where you did arena racing in the trophy trucks... About what I was thinking. Not too many people would do this to a street car like a Supra, but if it is beyond fixing up nicely for the street...

    Supracharged Prerunner

I'm with IJ on that sentiment, we like anything cool around here. Hell, my fleet is only halfway filled with Supras. :p

    Ingredients to Build A 700WHP 1JZ-GTE.

Sounds like a pretty solid plan as long as you have a competent machinist to do the work for you. :) As for the rods, there is a member on here who is from the UK (I believe his name was Tom, not sure of his forum name) who was selling a set of Carillo rods for a decent bargain... he probably...

Tire Pressures.... what do you run?

Speaking of things that scare the crap out of me... I think Mazda said it best when discussing distracted driving: "We strive to build vehicles you don't want to be distracted from." Give a kid a cool car, do you think they will care what app they're using at the moment? As far as the dipstick...

Cost effective upper control arm suggestions/opinions?

Brewhaha, as long as you make sure that you don't hang the straps up on any sensors (I would try to avoid wiring too) or anything else that is potentially brittle, you should be fine.

    Third Line for AFPR?

I was thinking that a third line could be for cars with V-engines. Never really looked too closely at them, do they usually have their own regulator for each rail?

Widebody: S2 front fenders and Kaze Aerocraft rear fenders (Shineautoproject Replica)

I've seen it riveted, as well as molded into the body. Depending on your rear ride height desired, you may need to cut the old fender to make room for the tire, but no big deal for a track car. ;) FYI, if you're clever enough, it isn't too hard to fit a 295 in the rear. I've even seen 315's...

    Check your rocker panel drains...

Ugh... I wish these weren't so brittle over all these years. Definitely one part that would have been better made out of aluminum. Discovered that on many cars (my buddy's FC, my 48 and the LS400), they have tubes that essentially carry the water dripping down into the car, to the bottom of the...

    The UGLY Supra Thread...

Not sure what SILV it was, but I got to meet the owner at one of them. He's actually a pretty awesome guy, it was one of the earlier 1j swaps, and he frequently used it to deliver pizza, hence the sign. Oh, and the inherent "Road's closed..." joke that could be made there is priceless! Still...

    only one pull

I'm guessing this isn't on the setup with all the mods in your signature? If so, seems like a lot of trouble for 274whp...

Cool GoPro video of 89 Supra racing in a MotoRally X event in central Indiana.

That is certainly not your typical use of a Supra... looks like a blast! However, how are you routing fresh air to the radiator? Could that be why it blew?

    Braking in oil

There has got to be a thread in the oil subsection that covers this, if not three threads. ;) Hvyman's advise is good advice too, make sure your battery is in good shape, but this gets everything lubed up nicely before first firing up. Never thought to pull the spark plugs like some suggested...

    pre89 bumper/89+ bumper

IIRC, there was talk of making one of the S2 inserts for the early bumper by Shineautoproject. Not sure if it ended up happening or not. If so, that would be the way to go...

Tire Pressures.... what do you run?

I see you're on the Holden side of the fight when the Bathurst 1000 breaks out all of a sudden... Proper maintenance on a car? What a crrrrrrrazy concept! :p You know, my sister kept wondering why her car kept pulling to one side, and nobody she knew (or my parents even, surprisingly) thought...
