All you guys care about is compressor size. That's flat wrong. Malloy your car
is running out of steam at high RPMs is the same reason that big compressor'd
CT-26s run out of steam. You're not getting the air OUT of the car. You
have a _SMALL_ Stage V wheel on the back. It's the same...
You can rebuild it yourself, but it won't last. You'll end up spending more in
the long run if you rebuild it yourself. Just save up your $$ and get it done
right.

Me. Every time. I try to tell the new owner EVERYTHING that I know is wrong
with the car and whatever history I believe to be true. If the car is a total
shitbox, I tell them as much, and if they still wanna pay me, great!

I swapped a 7M back into my MKIII after haveing a 1JZ. The previous owner
couldn't get it to run right, and the wiring harness was a complete nightmare
I stuffed a 7M-GTE back in it.
That being said, My ideal MKIII would be a 1988 chassis, 90 tail lights, no wing
and a 2JZ/R154 combo.
JT56Lightning. 350-400rwhp, and comes on 3k-ish, get the BB version for a
quicker spool, and a P-trim for more power if you want.
I'll make you a believer.
Jeff
600rwhp on a modified CT-26 with a stage 3 turbine wheel? not gonna happen.
And cramming that HUGE turbo setup into a CT-26 means it'll not last much
longer than the length of that record breaking mouse fart.
Cliffs: no, it won't do it (unless you're adding a 300 shot of Nitrous too)
and then...
Actually bypass the pump from the system, and route the feed and return oil
lines together, and it'll be much easier to turn without the pump in the middle.
Jeff
nice thread, I've got a wingless MKIII in my future. I'm going to _really_ enjoy
my new ride.
1988 MKIII Wingless, 89+ tails, and I'm thinking dark green with Tan Leather
interior.
Bumpity, it's THIS Saturday. Everyone has asked if they can bring stuff.
drinks/chips, etc. We'll go for BBQ down the road, or for Pizza up the road
Also bring lots of friends and good attitudes 8-).
