set your fuel pressure per the tsrm. only time you should be changing it is to roughly adjust wot af ratios's. keep the fuel pressue in the middle of the range spec'd by the tsrm if you can.
something i ran into: the rc's hit a limit at 22psi with vac on. Lean idle, and lean low load...
timing being pulled such as knock retard. egts will spike higher when ignition timing is retarded.
if you've ever run past 5700rpm where timing is said to be pulled heavily by the stock ecu, you should see egts start climbing pretty quick. (mine went from 1250 degrees to 1400 in a heart beat)
im betting that 10:1 af ratio is actually lower then that with that much fuel.
sounds like there is some pirate air getting in.
is the o2 sensor calibrated? any exhaust leaks?

what pressure plate? You have a clutch start switch override?
cold start knock is my guess. let the car sit for a few days and see if it does it again on start up.
