Did the pad contact increase vertically with the different 13.5 rotors on this kit? Or no, and only more surface area is gained for the pads to ride on once brake is applied?
Also, does the pad contact the whole braking area on the rotor? No extra surface free riding and will start to rust...
The op mentioned the calipers are machined down to accept 13.5 rotors, so you would have to send in your TT calipers to get machined down for it to work. If that is even an option, which I doubt.
Yeah I'm one of those picky individuals also. I really really wish there a two piece rotor option avaliable. Billet aluminum for the center cap to save lots of rotating weight. Course price would also go up also, but I'm not concerned about that. But I'm still in position were I'm still...
W58 should be a good trans from 350-400hp until it gives out slowly. Also remember to use all gte electronics on the motor and also use the ge flywheel, clutch, and driveshaft.
Also there's numerous threads about this conversion so if you get stuck, searching is your friend.

Interesting.
So getting back on subject about the EVO 8 rear calipers. The mounting holes on the caliper fits right onto the MK3 rear mounting holes? No special bracket required?
Also with the new rotor and EVO 8 caliper does the braking surface have any run offs? Or everything is lined up...
