I doubt those fittings will fail, they'll probably hold up the entire life of your motor. Just make sure to either use brand new rubber hoses or best if you just use silicone braided hoses on it.
Good thing this thread popped up as i'm in the same dilemma. Someone mentioned to hone the ati damper. Any of you knowledgeable agree with honing it? or just do the boil technique?
