    Jt61gt questions

    We've cut the divider plate out of a BIC dowpipe and used it on the JT61GT. It has a .81 exhaust housing so it dosn't have surging problems. Feel free to send me a PM with your phone number and I'll call you and you can ask any questions you want. Jeff

    Sounds like the wastegate diaphram is dieing. like there is a leak in it or something. I prolly have a spare wastegate actuator around here if you wanna try it out. It could be many things, have you tried adding 5/10 psi to the diaphram and then just seeing it it stays open or if it closes...

    it would be slower to spool (bigger turbo), and on the same boost level would send in more air, so it would be like upping the boost on a CT26, but only up to 10psi. So you would get some more power, but you'd be limited by all the stock stuff (ECU timing/fuel maps, etc). Jeff

    the BOSS Jr is a CT-26 upgrade I believe, the BOSS Series bolt on (SupraSport of JT Series) are the big bad bolt ons. Jeff

    The JT56 you have is a garrett center section and 56mm compressor wheel. Like a .57 trim CT-26, but with an O-trim exhaust wheel, much bigger than the stock CT-26. Jeff

    Both the BOSS and the JT Series are nearly the same. Both basicly the best $$ can buy in the form of a bolt on turbo. Same exhaust housing, same wategate/lines, etc. The difference is Suprasport uses a Comp-turbo (formally ITS turbos) and I used comp turbos and some Masterpower. I can sell...
