where is figgie....
Youd be better off with nothing on the back of the turbine. the reason 95% of use stick to 3" is noies and fitment on the street.
quick google search > http://www.tercelreference.com/tercel_info/turbo_exhaust_theory/turbo_exhaust_theory.html
HIGHLY doubt that.
that op was speaking in regards to trans control, not EM.
Id call DM or kazien (sp?). They should be able to tell you exactly what to do with the auto ecu for a manual.
castrol super clean. Before i work under the car i spray the underside down with a 50/50 mix. Spray it on and let it soak for a few minutes. Oil and dirt build up falls right off with the hose. Havent needed another cleaner yet!
Ive used a tooth brush on a few thick layers of crud on the...
What temp gauges where you guys using? Ive seen a forced 210* temp on my aftermarket gauge and the stock one was still sitting at a tick below half way. Ive ran with out a shroud and with one back to back on the same day. Idle temps took the biggest hit with out the shroud. Temps rose...
sounds crazy right now but you will be in a better place down the road. The drunk driver will have the rest of his life to deal with his conscious and I can promise you he WILL. Ive been in your shoes with my loved one passing away. Nothing the courts do will justify what happened. The...
After those mounts go, grab some 2jz mkiv ones. Half the price and alot better design!
I hate the end of long vactions, makes me feel like im in grade school dreading the end of summer all over again :)
i dont have the antisurge housing, and the wastegate looks different. Id call up jefff at hybrid motorsports. The wastegate looks like the ones on JT's from the pics. When i last talked to him i understood him to use bully dog wastegates or some upgrade (good thing).
Mines been polished...
I assumed it was the key for the crank and pulley too. I thought he found it on the tray after cleaning other parts. Not my day for reading comprehension it seems!
i assumed it was the voltage difference. 12v "mod" with a measured 9v at the battery showed a slight bump in pressue when i started the car. Never dug deeper, havent touched fp in quite a while. Ill have to double check that this week then.
also keep in mind the rising rate fpr. if you set base at 30 psi you'll be right around 60psi at 20psi of boost. VERY critical to map it out when choosing fuel supply. You can easily get into dead head ranges with to much base pressure.
If your not seeing 650rpms (+/- 20 rpms) at idle on a...
maft pro is like the afc, just more features. Since we cant chip the stock ecu (yet) id have a standalone installed LONG before i swapped out my 550's...
Should have seen mine! I wouldnt worry about it. My clearances where all on the loose side. I found a set of mint stock cams that had almost no wear on the babbot material. Fresh material took up the loose clearances and warm idle psi increased 5psi :)
My old cams had almost nothing left...
if you disconnect the wastegate actuator to door rod, you should be able to open the door by hand. Is there any preload on the wastegate? the above method with an air compressor works to make sure it opens fully but its hard to find the exact opening point with a regular shop regulator.
Nobody called you names. Leave the attitude in grade school.
The advice you gave on how you figured your cps was bad is just BAD ADVICE. This is not what i would want to search and find when looking for help in say a year or two...
2 gallons of e85 to a stock mkiii supra gas tank = 94 octane when mixed with pump 93. Id reconsider the "advice" your getting.
Stop posting what your bud bob did on some other car. It's bad for future searches. To many follow the "he did it and his car still runs" motto.
