I just bought a new TPS after the problem started and relcalibrated it. I did wans't the problem.
I could see if the tps went bad in the beginning and maybe the new one isn't recalibrated right. I would think the way the engine would have a different characteristic to it, the way it idled or...
That could be a possible answer. check this out

TheSupraman wrote something about that he had a problem with a AFPR.
I still want to check the i/c pipes going to the fender even though i checked it already.
If that doens't help i'm going to bypass the intercooler. I'm thinking maybe my I/c is cracked if this is possible. But at this point anything is possible.
Both ECU are from a 5speed.
Not only did I double check the timing, I triple checked. I might even go back and check a fourth time for the hell of it, but i realy don't think its that because my timing was fine before it started the problem. The car has a hard time raising idle when given...
Has anyone of you guys figure out what is wrong with your cars yet. I seem to have the same problem right now and still haven't figured it out and i tried everything so far and fail on almost everything.
did any of you check your spark plugs and see what they look like?
I could put new...
disconnected the CSI and checked the vaccum on the FPR and it doesn;t smell like fuel so i'm guessing its not the problem.
I swapped out the ecu with a 88, I don't know if it matters because mine is a 87, but it didn't help so i'm kinda running out of ideas here.
Another thing this happened right after a put a new speedo cable in. Could there be anything in the wiring from the dash that could cause this. I don't realy think so, if any it would mess up a gauge or lights or something.
I just did a complete HG job on the car. The problem started before the HG. It kinda gave me a reason to tear it apart and put a metal HG and arp head studs. While doing the job i put all new gaskets. my first thought was that it had a leak at the intake manifold.
The pipe after the afm is...
I have some kind of rich condition in my car. I mean rich!!! I put a new set of plugs in start the car and it runs for about a minute or two and stalls out. I pull the plug and blacker than black. While the car is run I can't rev the engine at all. If i touch the gas a little bit the car sounds...
It doesn't cost that much money. I bought 2 of them with the other bushings at the same time for a friend doind the sogi mod also. It cost like $40 for all of them. So less then $15 for the green bushing. Which i think is worth every penny.
Rebuild the ct26 for now, but don't do it yourself since you already know what happens when you do it yourself. Unless you want to practice rebuilding turbos. maybe if you get good, i have a couple of turbos that need to be rebuilt. you'll be the man.
?-How much was the rebuild kit?
YO sonex I realy don't think there is anything wrong with your RPM's, but when i get a chance we could get together and check it out
How did that electric fan turn out?
So are you saying if i put in the Lexus afm and 550 injectors i wouldn't have any problems boosting on my stock turbo. I'm getting the DDp in a few days so with just the afm and injectors would i hit FCO?
I realy didn't know the excact number of revolutions, so i just said three.
It sounded good because i was trying to picture how many times it spins in my head and i came up with that.
Sonex2000 runs semi-solid mounts on his car and you feel alot of vibration. I personally don't like the vibration. It would drive me nuts to drive it everyday and i drive without P/s and no A/c. i don't know if it would vibrate something loose but it could be very possible.
I don't know...
True...true...
If i was you i would take it easy until you get everything else installed. AFPR and fuel pump. Its insurance for your engine. I wouldn't even boost, but thats me.
