Never use teflon or thread sealant on the flare side of fitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flare is flare for a reason, it is self sealing!! Otherwise it will leak.
If you wanna do it right and save yourself some time just simply bring them to the machine shop to be bead blasted and tanked. Should cost you no more than 10-20 bucks.
I went .005 on my Ross pistons. The motor slapped and indeed sounded like a diesel when cold, but once warmed up it was completly quiet and slap would dissappear.

But Please!!! Get rid of the skinny black ricer wheels that sink too far into the fenders!!!!
