Thats an incredibley clean mk2. very nice. You did some nice work restoring it. I see that you did ask our opinions on value, and I woudl have to say that about $5k is what your looking at. Its a very very clean car.
How do you figure? The maf-ts are worthless now now that the maftpro is out. The maft-t's didnt go for half that brand new, and the maftpro can be had for 500'ish brand new now.
Thats not true in any way. Toyota continues to supply oem parts for our 20 year old cars. You should be grateful that they still carry as many parts as they do for our a70's. Some other manufacturers you cant compare.
yep make sure that your heater hose is in good shape and flexible. Just simply attach the side of the hose that normally goes to the back of the head to the firewall side instead, and the vsv side of the hose to the back of the head. Done! No downfall, youll be good to go.

A good trick if you want to eliminate the heater vsv completely is to do what I did which is take out...
What did you do to my old car now!!! :faint:
How does it have a GM MAF? The car is running on speed density mode, so there is NO MAF, lol. Youve got to be kidding me. The car is running off a MAP sensor. I would inspect it. Looks like you need to get a new mechanic, seriously...
