I like the idea of replacing the stock gauges (water temp, boost, and oil pressure) with aftermarket ones, but put the new ones where the old ones were. I know ppl do it with the boost gauge, but I haven't really read up and seen if anyone has done it with the others yet...

Even if you got a new elbow that was either from LIPP or it was hand ported, you would have another restriction in the downpipe. To get the best gains you will need to buy a downpipe with an integrated elbow that way it's completely 3" ;).

It's not going to be a direct drop in replacement either way. I'm sure if they can make them fit in an MKII then there should only similar mods you need to do to make them fit in an MKIII. I guess I'll be the pioneer on this mod and let you all know if they work. It's going to be a while...

The 4.30 gears would be good for racing from a roll. Or look at it this way, when a kid in a riced out car with a fart can tries to do the "ricer fly-by" you can just down shift and stop him b4 the nose of his car even gets to your door ;).

That "different" route means they're gonna stop fixing you broke xbox's and tell you to just buy another one ;). Buy one of those axxis intercoolers for the 360, it helped my cousin's out a lot with the glitching up (if that's one of your problems you've been having).
