At least get the canister painted to keep the cops off your ass like your bud did. Good thing around here the cops are lazy bastards. We don't even have an enforced sound ordinance around here, woot!
When I start on my new engine I'm gonna see if I can find someone who will ceramic coat my exhaust manifold. I think that would be the best route to go on the exhaust, at least down to the downpipe (maybe the testpipe) anything after that would be a waste of money.
The flat black is a good...
No, the wrap was fine, the coating on the exhaust flaked up and came off where it wasn't covered by the wrap. I just don't think that paint is good for the temp that they say they are. Granted the turbo elbow is one of the more hot spots on the car, but still, it wasn't run hard at all.
Lol, I coated my downpipe with header wrap paint, then put the header wrap on, then dumped the entire can of paint onto the wrap. The wrap was good, but around the o2 sensor where it didn't get wraped the coating peeled right off after 3-4 runs. Granted this stuff was suppost to be good up to...
I think the ramen noodles in the styrofoam cups taste like shit. Buy one regular one, fix it, buy the ones in the cup, same flavor, fix it. The one's in the cup are ready to eat quicker, but the two taste completely different.
The original Ramen noodles FTW!
I'm sure you've seen this, but it's the only thing I could find in a quick search: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=361095&postcount=6
If you look at it closely it's not hard at all to figure out.
Turbo blue smells sweet iirc, the only thing I know that would make it smell sweet is................. ::bhg::
Edit: But if you think it doesn't smell sweet then I don't know.
It should unless someone's replaced it with a test pipe. It should actually have a pre cat and then the full cat on it, big power robber there, along with the stock turbo elbow and downpipe.
I practically live on ramen man, I know what to do with it. The creamy chicken flavor: add a little butter, some seasoned meat tenderizer, and greek seasoning= good stuff.
If the fan clutch is good it should spin a little for like half a sec and then slow down and stop fast right? The reason I ask this because that's what mine does.
Damn, I didn't know bigaaron sold a helicoil kit, and it's for the entire exhaust side? Sounds like it's FTW, how much does he normally charge for the kit?
