89s have mixed pre 89 connectors and 90+ but they're grey in color.. pinning is the same on them (pre 89 style connectors are the same pinning and same for 90+)
nothing you can really do. The strainer and oil filter will catch it so it wont enter you engine. But as far as getting it out.. Pull the oilpan and hope its down there and fish it out.

the blackplate looks weird.. not like any garret i've seen, either way its a good turbo... no play and daneyan used it fine..
fwiw i ran -4 on my car for over a year no problem.. But yea too much oil can be bad.. Turbos only need like 20 psi of oil pressure to operate.. the 1js im sure make...
does it keep the rain out? I mean if it does rain when i'm inside at a resturaunt will it keep the water out? you know fl, pouring in your backyard clear & sunny in the front..
