Like i said in the PM on SF, use more octane on the 29 psi pull, you'll make over 650 no problem i'd imagine. theres not enough octane for that high of boost, so its pulling timing (evident by lower torque #s and not much power gain)
What are you using for fuel pumps? I forget
Meth isn't that high of octane.. its only like 107-108 iirc.. and mixed you're only have ~ 100.. Thats not enough octane for 29 psi imo.. Should be good up to ~ 22-24 psi on the 70 i'd imagine.. ~ 600whp
I wouldn't worry about the water anyways.. It wont help with detonation, the extra octane...
Thats what I figured. I will have to look to see what is keeping them on. Right now the only 2 grounds are a switched ground on the aem and the a/c pressure switch. Power is coming from the gauge fuse on both. AEM will only have the fans on if the RPMs are over 300 rpm, so with the engine off...
They do that automatically. When the high pressure switch is tripped the Aux fans turn on. They're only oon when the Coolant temp or A/C High pressure switch is tripped. The Power comes from the gauge fuse.
I'm trying to see if the gauge fuse is powered from the main relay or the ignition...
I just got my 2j car back on the road (sent the aem back to get the idle circuit fixed) and its hotter then hell so I charged my a/c as well. I originally wired my Fans (dual fal fans) to turn on when the a/c high pressure switch is flipped, then was going to wire a 2nd fan (stock condenser fan)...
Very nice man! that sucks about the injectors.. I think you got a odd batch with the mkiv injectors.
469@ 18 psi is very nice! 40 more whp with 2 less psi from a mild cam upgrade and a standalone
if there is not enough freon it wont turn on.. but I assume you check that.
It could be a faulty Pressure sensor then. Just start tracing it back and see where the power stops (or starts depending whree you start)..
GS300 98+ same connectors im 95.146% sure
as well as the IS
DM makes a kit to replace the FPR and the hardline, you can get that or talk to arron and I'm sure hed let you know what fitting you would need
I've used it before in a Low 1st gear roll with a mustang (5mph roll, launched sorta like at the track).. if I'm near where I get full boost thought brake boost will give you a better jump
ghetto ecu.. works fine some times then wownt allow to rev above 2k.. oh well if it doesn't work we'll steal the caps for my ecu and it probably will fix it.. there were 2-3 leaking ones on mine..
