i was just wondering if anybody has seen or has heard stories of maaco paint jobs, good or bad. $200 seems really cheap for a paint job.

i have tightened it in the past, and for a while the car seems normal. after a few days or even several weeks, it has the same problem again. can the spring loosen itself via vibrations from driving? is it a case of just having to re-tighten it every now and then?

i have the type-s. it doesn't have the horn on the end of it. i have recirculated it in the past, but i couldn't hear it anymore. could it be the spring tension on the valve? it doesn't sound like it leaks at ide though. if i leaned out the a/f with my safc-2 at ide, would that help?
