Well here's another project for me and one of my roommates.
It's an 87 N/A MR2, 5spd, 186k miles, ONE OWNER. As far as I can tell so far there is not a spot of rust larger than a dime ANYWHERE on the car. The PO was the original owner from 1987. He had the car under sprayed with a protective...
I GOT ONE!!!!
Pics and a new thread soon. :)
It's an '87 N/A, 5spd. 186k miles. Guy couldnt get it running after letting it sit for a year.
Enter: my roommate and I. :)
Goal is to get it running by the end of the weekend.
Yes, those are available. My dealer had them when I worked for Yoda.
Keys were ~12 bucks cut for your vin#. Had to have license, registration to get any key cut that wasn't already in for service.
Luckily I still have every key for my car. :) Master, Valet, Spare. All Toyota originals.
If an annoying person touched me while I slept, carried diseases, ate my food, kept my girlfriend from wanting to sleep with me: I'd want that annoying person put out to pasture...
I got 4 regular traps and 4 ultrasonic repellents. :)
I'll keep you guys updated on the effectiveness.
They are throughout the house. Bedroom upstairs (mine), Kitchen, Living Room.. etc.
I think I'm going to get a few regular snap traps and some of the electronic ultrasound ones.
Selling it?!
I'm looking to buy one. If you can drive it out and deliver it to me, I'll give you 1000. :)
And trust me, $1000 is very comfy. I can give it to you in a briefcase in $1's so you make make a money bed if you like.
I am going to the store in an hour or so to get something to keep mice away. Any advice before or after would be good, but I'm getting at least one form of repellent/killer soon.
After being tickled by a fucking mouse in bed last night, I want them gone.
What method would any of you...
Wow, I had no idea those things would be responsive enough to allow the driver to control it that well...
I figured those things would have enough lag to make that kind of balance impossibile.
Jesus.
I was always heard of x-mas tree fires being bad, but now I really won't ever get a real tree for x-mas.
Fuck that, I like my small fake tree just fine.
Not to mention he most likely have signed paperwork which holds him legally responsible for paying back damages on the job...
Leave the job and say "fuck you" and he may end up with a warrant...
It's always tough to lose a family member, but I'm hoping he led a full and enjoyable life. :)
May he rest in peace.
My grandma passed a few years ago and I still think of her on a semi-regular basis. Such good memories...
When I worked for Toyota, I signed a form stating I could be held financially responsible if I damaged any vehicle on the lot.
That being said, when I worked there I watched two people ruin bumpers and fenders each totaling over 1000 bucks and they did not pay a dime. You had to make a habit...
I manage perfectly fine the Supra on studded tires. A land cruiser would be plenty to keep you out of trouble here. The snow melts VERY fast.
With an LC, you could probably make some money towing idiots out of snow banks. :)
Damn. This is EXACTLY why, when I am forced to brake hard my first reaction is to look in the rear view mirror to see if I'm about to get creamed by some asshole not paying attention...
It's sad, really.
DUDE!!! That'd be so cool! If I were him I'd be jumping all over this software! Dyslexia has to get annoying...
Technology never ceases to amaze me. If you were to tell someone in 1960 that in 50 years you could talk into a microphone and it would write your words for you they would never...
